Formed in 2004 by Kimi Raikkonen, Steve Robertson and David Robertson as Raikkonen Robertson Racing, Double R quickly became a prominent team. In its maiden season in British F3, 2005, it won its first race and the following year won the championship with Mike Conway. The team won 14 races in 2006, with five wins going to Conway’s team-mate, Bruno Senna. Two race wins in 2009 courtesy Marcus Ericsson and one last year with Felipe Nasr. Anthony Hieatt completed his purchase of the team at the end of 2010 and renamed it
