The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is located near the town of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. The circuit's biggest event is the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix; it has hosted the event since the sport's inception and is renowned as the home of the "tifosi", the supporters of Scuderia Ferrari.
Laid out in a woodland park setting, the circuit has three tracks – the 5.793 km (3.600 mile) Grand Prix track, the 2.405 km (1.494 mile) Junior track, and a decaying 4.250 km (2.641 mile) high speed track, complete with steep banking. Well-known features of the main track include the fabled Curva di Lesmo, Curva Parabolica and the Variante Ascari.
