Made his car-racing debut in British F3 at Rockingham 2010 after two seasons of success in karts in Brazil. Several invitation-class outings with Hitech followed that season ahead of a full-season British F3 campaign in 2011 which netted the rapid Brazilian one race win and three further podiums on his way to championship eighth
