After karting in his native Brazil and in Europe, Pedro contested South American F3 in 2006. The following season he switched to the Formula Renault 2.0 North European Championship before returning home. Second in South American F3 in 2008, he stepped up to the F3 Euroseries for 2009 before switching to the GP3 catergory
