Started as a teenager in karts in native Holland and in Germany. Formula Renault Northern Europe Cup and Eurocup 2008-2010 with several podium finishes. Sixth overall FR Eurocup last season. Completed the first half of 2011 in the Rookie class, leading comfortably with 11 class wins from 15 starts, before stepping up to the International class
