Started in Asian Formula Renault in 2006, moving on to Formula V6 Asia with Champ Motorsport the following season. Two years experience of Formula 3 in the domestic German championship with Performance Racing 2008/’09. Also contested some A1GP races in 2009 with Team China, and Formula Toyota New Zealand. Made his British F3 debut in 2010, and scored his first points in the wet final race at Brands Hatch, securing a memorable International class podium
